After our successful US Client Meeting we concluded the month with our Annual Meeting in London. It was fantastic to welcome over 50 clubs and organizations from the UK, Nordics and France. This event continues to be a yearly highlight, bringing together longstanding clients and new partners. Big thanks to our panelists and attendees for making this a memorable gathering, we’re excited for an innovative 2025 with many new projects on the horizon.

The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Championship Game was held at CPKC Stadium with Access Control provided by Fortress. Congrats to the Orlando Pride on their first national title!

Our yearly tradition took us to Arizona this time, where we had the pleasure of being hosted by our client the Phoenix Suns in one of their premium spaces – The stunning Annexus Social Club. We were joined by clients from the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, MLS, PGA and the WNBA, along with some of the top entertainment venues in the US & Canada. We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to connect with such an impressive group, who are truly the best in the business. Big thank you to the Suns for welcoming us. Another thank you to Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale for providing a beautiful backdrop to our stay. We made sure to take time for some Golf and Hiking amidst the serene landscape. Looking forward to continuing the conversations, partnerships, and innovations that came from this fantastic gathering in the year ahead!

The transformation at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park has been a fantastic project to be involved in with Birmingham City FC. All new turnstiles are supplied by EDS, and our TR-210 readers equipped with best-in-class NFC functionality provide the Blues fans with industry-leading Access Control technology for the new season, fully integrated with Ticketmaster. This was a big project with tight timelines and proved once again that our operations and software departments are the best in the business. A big thank you to the club for entrusting Fortress with upgrading the club’s access control as part of the wider St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park vision, with the server infrastructure fully hosted by us.

The new and improved Villa Store opened its doors last week and has been completely reimagined ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League Season. The latest innovations include Season Tickets being recognized digitally at till point through an integration to Fortress, discounting the purchase price and sending valuable data back to the club.

Taylor Swift closed out a legendary European leg of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium with five nights under the Arch. Nearly 500,000 fans seamlessly came through the Wembley gates by using Fortress.
